Refugee Convoy Shelled Near Kharkiv, Around 30 Casualties Reported
Dozens of refugees have been killed in a shelling incident of a convoy by Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv region, Rodion Miroshnik, the head of the representation of the Luhansk People's Republic in Moscow, told RIA.
“According to preliminary reports, around 30 people have died as a result of the convoy shelling, including children,” he stated.
Miroshnik noted that emergency services are still unable to retrieve the bodies due to ongoing attacks by armed forces. “Now, following the commencement of active hostilities in the Kharkiv region, the number of people fleeing towards the Belgorod region of Russia or traveling through our territory has increased,” he added.
