UK Foreign Office on Putin's Threats
Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech is an escalation that is concerning, and his threats must be taken seriously. This was stated by Gillian Keegan, Secretary of State for Relations with Parliament at the UK Foreign Office, in an interview with Sky News, as reported by Reuters.
"This is a matter that needs to be taken seriously, because, as you know, we do not have control, and I am not sure that he has that control either. This is an open escalation," the official noted.
Recall that Putin announced today that in defense of Russia and in the face of threats against the country, Moscow will use all types of weapons, including nuclear weapons.
