“If Armenia Faces Defeat, It Will Be Bad News for the West,” The Telegraph
The Telegraph has addressed the recent tensions along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. The publication states, “Armenia is subjected to brutal treatment by its neighbors. If it faces defeat, it will be bad news for the West.”
“Connecting energy dependence from Russia to Azerbaijan is folly. It merely replaces one autocracy with another. The EU is turning to reliable energy suppliers. Azerbaijan is one of them,” said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Over the past week, the EU’s “reliable partner” has killed over 200 people during relentless assaults on neighboring Armenia, the publication emphasizes.
