What Meetings is Ishkhan Saghatelyan Organizing and What is the Purpose: 'Hraparak'
‘Hraparak’ newspaper reports: “Following the announcement of the meeting between the first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan and the Catholicos, member of the ARF Supreme Body Ishkhan Saghatelyan issued a statement which essentially indicated that the mentioned meeting had taken place at his initiative. It is noteworthy that on September 14, Saghatelyan made a public proposal that in the current situation, it is necessary to gather the Catholicos, former presidents, military leaders, and influential figures to discuss possible ways out of the crisis.
“I would like to emphasize that I have presented my proposal in a formal manner to all parties. During this time, several important meetings have already taken place in various formats. I am confident that this is the best, perhaps the only way out of the situation. Therefore, I will continue to spare no effort in this direction, hoping that visible results will come soon,” he stated.
According to our sources, a new meeting is set to take place in the coming days in a 3+2+2 format, with the participation of former presidents of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as both Catholicoses. After the meeting, it is expected that this significant format will issue a statement calling on the authorities for sobriety. Further steps will be discussed during the meeting.
