Iran's Foreign Ministry on Pelosi's Visit to Armenia
The spokesperson of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, addressed the visit of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Armenia during his daily press conference.
“The increase of tension and instability in the South Caucasus does not align with the interests of any engaged or neighboring country. Peace, stability, and security in the region are essential for economic development and prosperity, as well as for the flourishing of trade and economic relations. We do not accept any provocations outside this framework and incitement of instability in the region,” said Kanaani.
