"You Decide Whose Interests Are Being Served": Chakhoyan
Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office Taron Chakhoyan wrote on his Facebook page that foreign elements have begun an information diversion. They are agents serving the interests of another country, having formed an anti-government channel demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister.
"It turns out that those calling on the public to take to the streets are fighting against the Prime Minister's statements. They are trying to obstruct the government's decision to maintain the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, prevent the establishment of a corridor, and ensure lasting peace and security in Armenia, which covers 29,800 square kilometers," wrote Chakhoyan.
He claims that those executing the information diversion serve the interests of a country that wishes to reduce the internationally recognized sovereign territory of Armenia and provide a corridor to Azerbaijan, possibly also establishing control over that corridor.
"You decide whose interests are being served by the members of the network that acts with an opposition stance both within and outside Armenia," Chakhoyan wrote on his Facebook page.
He reiterated Armenia's official position that no corridor will be granted through Armenian territory, the sovereign territory of Armenia is a red line, and Azerbaijani units that have invaded Armenian territory must withdraw from it.
