Aliyev Again Speaks About the Opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor'

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that the opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' would further enhance the transportation capabilities of the countries in the region.

According to Aliyev, the corridor will be beneficial for all countries along that route. The Azerbaijani president also mentioned that Baku has provided Armenia with five fundamental principles and emphasized the need to start work on a peace agreement draft without preconditions and artificial delays.

It should be noted that the Armenian authorities have repeatedly stated that the issue has not been discussed and will not be discussed in a corridor context.
