Short-term Rain and Thunderstorms Expected: Weather in Armenia

The high fire danger situation will be maintained in the foothill and pre-mountain areas of the Republic. From August 1 to 5, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions of the Republic after noon.

The wind will be south-western at 2-5 m/s. In Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, wind intensification of 15-20 m/s is expected in the evening hours.

The air temperature will not change significantly. In Yerevan, from August 1 to 5, rainless weather is anticipated. Wind intensification of 15-20 m/s is expected in the evening hours.
