Blinken and Lavrov to Negotiate for the First Time Since the Start of the War in Ukraine
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are set to negotiate.
Blinken himself announced the negotiations. He stated that he intends to discuss, among other things, the fate of American detainees Paul Whelan and Brittney Griner, as well as their potential exchange for Russian Viktor Bout.
According to RTVI, this will be Blinken and Lavrov's first meeting since the beginning of the Russian military operation.
