The newspaper "Jamanak" reports that former Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Gagik Jhangiryan, has been summoned for interrogation by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
The newspaper officially inquired with the Investigative Committee about whether Gagik Jhangiryan had indeed been questioned. In response, the Committee's press service stated: "In connection with the recording published by R. Vardazaryan, Mr. G. Jhangiryan was interrogated in the capacity of a witness as part of the criminal case initiated under part 1 of Article 441 and part 2, point 2 of Article 486 of the Criminal Code of Armenia."
Although the specifics of his testimony have not been officially disclosed, according to "Jamanak", he reportedly reiterated what he had expressed during an interview on Channel 1. It is important to note that a criminal case against Gagik Jhangiryan was initiated based on the recording released by former president of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan.
