Pregnant Woman Hospitalized with Bleeding; Newborn Dies

A tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region on July 9. Around 07:20, a 36-year-old woman, Armine E., from Tavush gave birth at the "Ijevan" medical center, but the child did not survive. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

The head of the gynecology department at the medical center, Varduhi Vardapetyan, confirmed that the 27-week pregnant woman was transferred with bleeding and gave birth to a newborn, who subsequently died.

Following the incident, the Tavush regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case.
