Peskov Reveals What Is Needed for the End of Military Special Operation in Ukraine
The special military operation could end within 24 hours if the Ukrainian side meets Russia's conditions and orders its troops to lay down their arms. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, on June 28.
“The Ukrainian side can stop everything by the end of the current day; we need an order for the nationalist units to lay down their arms, an order for the Ukrainian military to lay down their arms, and we must fulfill Russia's conditions,” Peskov responded to Vladimir Zelensky's statement about the prospects of halting military operations in Ukraine before winter.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov expressed hope that military operations in Ukraine would end by the end of 2022. The Kremlin, commenting on his words, noted that the special operation would conclude only when the main tasks outlined by the president are fulfilled.
