Ararat Mirzoyan on Opposition Protests
During a press conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated, "I can assert unequivocally that there is no political crisis in Armenia."
“As far as I have been able to follow, the attendance at the ongoing rallies—whether large or small—does not indicate support from citizens for these demonstrations. At the same time, I want to emphasize that Armenia is a democratic country, and everyone has the right to hold peaceful protests,” Mirzoyan noted.
The minister went on to discuss the opposition, stating that, in his opinion, there are issues regarding the rationality of the processes taking place. “These political forces have the opportunity to expand their activities in Parliament and critically scrutinize the authorities, which they are not taking advantage of,” said Mirzoyan.
