KamAZ Loaded with Cement Raw Material Crashes into Gas Pipeline and Flips Over
Today, on June 7th, an accident occurred in the Syunik Province. Around 10:25 AM, 33-year-old Marut Hayrapetyan, a resident of the Vayots Dzor Province, lost control of his KamAZ cargo truck on the 298.3 km mark of the Yerevan-Meghri highway under unknown circumstances, crashed into gas pipelines, and flipped over. According to shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
The first responders to assist the driver were the traffic police commanders passing through the area at that time. According to sources, the KamAZ was loaded with cement raw materials. Employees from the emergency recovery department of the Gazprom Armenia gas metering station in Kapan promptly arrived on the scene to carry out necessary work to swiftly address the accident.
