23-Year-Old Driver Hits 31-Year-Old Pedestrian with Lada Niva

On June 5, an accident occurred in the Kotayk province. Around 21:15, a 23-year-old resident of Yerevan, Hakob M., hit a pedestrian, 31-year-old Volodya M. from Kotayk province, while driving his Lada Niva 2121 Urban vehicle on the 48 km stretch of the Yerevan-Sevan highway. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and assisted the injured pedestrian in getting transferred to the “Hrazdan” medical center.
