French meteorologists have declared the second to last (orange) level of weather danger due to severe weather conditions affecting two-thirds of the European part of France. This was stated in a report released by the Meteo France meteorological service.
The announcement pertains to 60 departments located in the southwestern, central, and northern parts of the country. Additionally, a yellow alert level has been issued for another 23 departments. The warning will remain in effect in most departments until Sunday morning.
