Photos: Girl Falls into River While Visiting Waterfall with Friend, Alerts Authorities That Friend Is Missing

The Ministry of Emergency Situations and police, along with staff from the 'Hayantar' forest service, conducted search operations over a radius of about 3 kilometers in the area known as 'Hidden Waterfall' in Haghartsin village. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

At approximately 16:20, the Dilijan police received a call from Anna K., who reported that she had fallen into the river from a height of about 5-10 meters and that her friend, 29-year-old Vahan S., was with her at the time. After some time, she regained consciousness in the river and alerted the relevant authorities.

A rapid response team of doctors from Dilijan hospital arrived on-site to provide first aid to Anna K. They then joined rescuers and police, continuing the search for Vahan S. on foot for nearly 3 kilometers. Search operations continued in three different directions.

According to Anna K.'s statement, a Mazda car belonging to them was found near the entrance of the forest—as she reported they had parked the car and walked approximately 3.5 kilometers through the forest to reach the 'Hidden Waterfall.'
