Brutal Murder in Yerevan: Victim is Daughter of Former Official
On May 4, a murder occurred in Yerevan. On May 5, around 01:50, the police received a call from the Arabkir branch of the ambulance service regarding a doctor's team dispatched to one of the buildings on Adonts Street, where they found the body of a woman.
According to shamshyan.com, police officers and investigators discovered the body of 35-year-old Tatevik Abrahamyan, a resident of the same apartment. Preliminary conclusions from the forensic examination indicate signs of violence on her neck and face.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Artashat branch are searching for her husband, 31-year-old Narek Sargsyan from the Ararat region, on suspicion of killing T. Abrahamyan.
The police are making quick efforts to determine where N. Sargsyan might be after the murder, and after confirming his location, they conduct explanatory work that results in his appearance at the Artashat police station.
According to reports, the victim T. Abrahamyan was the daughter of former police colonel Avetik Abrahamyan, who previously served as the head of the Kotayk Regional Police Department and held leadership positions in several divisions of the Yerevan police.
