I do not believe that there was anything illegal involved in this matter, as both the Prosecutor General’s office and the Anti-Corruption Committee have commented on it, the head of the State Control Service, Romanos Petrosyan, said during a brief interaction with journalists regarding the legal grounds for the sale of former National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan's villa.

“In many cases, the public also interprets situations in the context of moral assessments due to legality and the rule of law, and perhaps that is where the misunderstanding comes from,” Petrosyan added.
