Police Officer Struck by Opel While Crossing Street at Unauthorized Location
Today, on March 31, a pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:00 AM, 67-year-old Rafik Melikyan, a resident of Lori province, struck 35-year-old Grisha Kasyan, a Yerevan resident, with his Opel vehicle while Kasyan was crossing the street at an unauthorized location in front of 7 Kasyan Street.
According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and assisted the injured pedestrian by promptly helping transport him to the Number 1 University Hospital with the aid of the emergency medical team that arrived.
Reports indicate that the injured individual is a police officer.
