Major Traffic Accident in Kotayk Province: Injuries Reported

Today, on March 31, a major traffic accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 12:10 PM, at the 8th kilometer of the Ashtarak-Yerevan highway, a collision took place between a Ford Transit driven by 29-year-old Harutyun B. from Yerevan and a Lexus LX 470 driven by 57-year-old Hamlet H. from Gyumri.

According to shamshyan.com from the scene, as a result of the accident, two individuals sustained injuries and received initial medical assistance on-site from the emergency responders before being transported to the Armenia Medical Center. The collision caused both vehicles to leave the roadway, with the Ford Transit also knocking down a metal electric pole.

The police are investigating the identities of the injured parties.
