VIDEO: Can’t we have normal neighborly relations with each other? We will live in the same place for centuries, says Khachatur Sukiasyan

What do we want, what do we desire in this region? Do we not have an obligation to our generations? This was stated by Khachatur Sukiasyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction, during a meeting of the National Assembly's Regional and Eurasian Integration Committee.

“Can’t we create a developed region, have normal neighborly relations with one another? There are brother nations, brother states; let's build brotherhood, let’s share each other’s pain. What do we want? Have you assessed our possibilities? If for 30 years they hadn’t looted, taken weapons, and defended Artsakh... Every time we fight, we want to remain in a constant state of military actions, crying out, and then demanding from others,” Sukiasyan said.

He noted that the focus should be on institutional relations. “We must support each other to develop. We are neighbors and will live in the same place for centuries,” he added.
