Azerbaijan Calls on Military to Be Prepared for Use of Modern Weapons

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has instructed the military command staff to be ready at any moment to utilize modern weapons, technology, and other means of combat during a consultation at the central command post of the Armed Forces, according to a statement published on the ministry's website.

Additionally, the Azerbaijani military leadership has analyzed the situation along the border with Armenia. The minister has directed commanders and officers to be prepared to deploy modern arms, equipment, and other weaponry at any time.

Hasanov also issued recommendations for commanders to maintain a high level of combat readiness for their units, as well as to continuously enhance operational and combat activities and to increase alertness.
