Heavy Snowfall Causes Collapses in Artsakh
Today, on March 21, in the village of Emishjan in the Martuni region of Artsakh, the heavy snowfall has led to the partial collapse of a residential building's roof. The homeowners, elderly spouses, have been relocated to a safe area with the assistance of local residents. There are no reported injuries.
The latest report of a collapse was received today around 12:10 PM. In the nearby village of Tsovateg, due to the heavy snowfall, the roof of another residential house has partially collapsed. There are no human casualties recorded.
Additionally, three agricultural farm roofs have also collapsed in Tsovateg. The extent of the damages is currently being assessed.
The relevant information regarding these incidents has been forwarded to the 911 emergency management center of the Martuni region's Emergency Situations Department. The safety and health of the population are not at risk.
