Tragic Car Accident-Fire in Shirak Province: Charred Body Found in the Rear of the Vehicle
Today, on March 13, a tragic car accident-fire occurred in Shirak Province. Around 08:30, a head-on collision took place between an Opel vehicle and a DAF truck on the section of the Ashtarak-Gyumri highway known as "Ghochi Spring." As a result of the collision, a fire erupted in the Opel, and three people were injured—two of whom were transported to the Ashtarak Medical Center with various degrees of injuries, while one was taken to the Gyumri Medical Center.
The fire was extinguished by a firefighting crew from the Ministry of Emergency Situations that arrived at the scene. After extinguishing the fire, a charred body was found in the rear of the vehicle. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The police and the investigative department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured parties.
