The Alternative Road in Syunik Has Not Collapsed: Details from the Regional Administration

"There has been no collapse on any section of the Syunik alternative road, the Tatev-Aghvani road. A landslide occurred on the newly constructed Khot-Zorotan road, where earthworks are currently being carried out as part of the road construction project, and such incidents are natural. Efforts have been made to remove the collapsed mass, and the Khot-Zorotan road is now open and passable," said representatives from the Syunik regional administration in an interview with Aurora News.

They emphasized the need to clarify that contrary to a report published by the website 'Hraparak,' stating that "the alternative road in Syunik has collapsed," no such events have taken place on the Tatev-Aghvani road.

The landslide depicted in the video occurred on the new Khot-Zorotan road. The complete construction and asphalting of the Khot-Zorotan road section is scheduled for autumn.
