Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident in Kotayk Province

On March 6, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Kotayk Province. At approximately 08:30, the Charentsavan police department received a report about a body located off the roadway at kilometer 30.5 of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

According to shamshyan.com, police and investigators discovered the body of 50-year-old Gnel Stepanyan, a citizen of Armenia and the Russian Federation, residing in Hrazdan, outside the roadway.

Broken parts of the suspected vehicle that caused the hit-and-run were found at the scene. The police and the investigative department are conducting necessary operational and investigative joint actions to identify the driver responsible for the hit-and-run and to locate their vehicle.
