Those Negotiations Were Closed by the Americans: Zakharova

The United States has warned Russia that it is not prepared to engage in the negotiation process concerning security guarantees. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a broadcast on Russia’s Channel One.

According to Zakharova, Russia has done everything possible to ensure that the negotiations take place. “Yesterday, those negotiations were closed by the Americans, refusing to continue discussions through diplomatic channels regarding both global security and the situation created around Ukraine,” Zakharova said.
