Iran's Foreign Minister: US and NATO Intervention Will Not Help Ukraine
The participation of the US and NATO in the Ukrainian crisis will not contribute to its resolution. This was stated on Wednesday by Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, according to TASS.
“We are dissatisfied with the crisis surrounding Ukraine. Unfortunately, the destructive actions of the US and NATO have exacerbated the situation in this region,” the foreign minister’s words were quoted by Iranian state television.
“The intervention of the US and NATO will not help resolve the crisis between Russia and Ukraine,” he added, noting that “Tehran calls for a peaceful resolution of the issue.”
