Sergey Nersesyan Removed from Position of Yerevan Deputy Mayor
According to a decision by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan on January 17, Sergey Nersesyan has been removed from his position as Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
"Guided by Article 112 of the Labor Code, Article 48, Clause 5 of the Law on Local Self-Government in Yerevan, and based on S. Nersesyan's application, it is decided: 1. To terminate Sergey Boris Nersesyan from the position of Deputy Mayor of Yerevan effective January 17, 2022. 2. To instruct the head of the Financial Department of the Yerevan City Hall to process the final settlement in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, considering January 14, 2022, as the last working day," the mayor's decision states.
