52-Year-Old School Principal Attempts Suicide at Son's Grave; Doctors Fight for Her Life
The investigation department of the Artashat police is preparing materials regarding a suicide attempt by a resident of one of the villages in the Ararat region on January 13.
On that day, around 11:40 AM, the Artashat Medical Center alerted the Artashat police that a citizen had been admitted with a diagnosis of "acute exogenous poisoning with acetic acid essence." According to photo reporter Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group was dispatched to the hospital, where they determined that the victim was a 52-year-old woman from one of the villages in the Ararat region.
It was revealed that on the same day, around 11:00 AM, she had consumed acetic acid essence at her son’s grave in their village with the intent to commit suicide. Doctors have informed the police that she is unable to provide any explanations.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, this woman works as a principal at one of the schools in the Ararat region.
