The newspaper 'Jamanak' reports that pork prices have increased in Armenia, surpassing 4,000 drams. The price of one kilogram of pork minced meat has risen to 4,100 drams, while the price of one kilogram of pork ribs has increased from 3,300 drams to 3,800 drams. Additionally, it's noteworthy that during the January-November period of last year, pork production volumes in Armenia grew by 8.7 percent.
Meanwhile, beef prices have also gone up, with one kilogram of tender beef now costing 4,400 drams, and ground meat reaching 3,000 drams per kilogram. The price of lamb has also exceeded 4,000 drams per kilogram. In contrast, sheep meat production volumes have significantly decreased, dropping by 11.4 percent during the same period last year. According to experts, this is the reason why sheep meat continues to be sold at a high price.
