Omicron Variant Detected in Armenia: 2 Cases Confirmed
Two cases of COVID-19 caused by the Omicron variant have been detected in Armenia, both of which are travel-related. This information was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
"As COVID-19 patients, they underwent epidemiological investigation, and upon arriving in Armenia, their nasal swabs were examined using sequencing methods, which confirmed the presence of the Omicron variant. The condition of the patients is satisfactory, and they have not been hospitalized; both are receiving treatment at home," the Ministry of Health stated.
