Ambulance Carrying Patient Involved in Accident
Today, on January 12, an accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:10, vehicles driven by Ara P., aged 51, operating a Jinbei model registered under the ambulance service 1-03 of Yerevan, and Aram Q., aged 67, driving a Toyota RAV4, collided at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The 2nd platoon of the 1st company of the Yerevan patrol service, led by platoon commander Nikolay Avetisyan, quickly arrived at the scene.
Officers Ara Manukyan and Arthur Tevosyan from the patrol service cordoned off the area, and their efforts helped avoid traffic congestion.
Representatives from insurance companies also arrived promptly. The drivers underwent sobriety tests, and both were found to be sober.
According to G. Shamshyan, the ambulance was transporting a patient at the time of the accident. The patrol service is preparing materials regarding the incident.
