Peskov Comments on Kazakhstan's Decision to End CSTO Peacekeeping Mission
Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has commented on the words of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev regarding the cessation of the CSTO mission, TASS reports.
Peskov stated that Kazakhstan's decision to end the CSTO mission falls within that republic's jurisdiction, and the Russian Federation has no right to intervene.
It is worth noting that the main mission of CSTO peacekeeping forces in Kazakhstan has successfully concluded, and a phased withdrawal will begin in two days, lasting no more than 10 days, as announced by President Tokayev.
