New Changes in Russian Citizens' Passport Data
Russian citizens no longer need to indicate their children and marital status in their passports. All information is now stored electronically in governmental information systems and can be provided to interested authorities upon request. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
However, details regarding marriage registration and dissolution, children under 14, previously issued passports, foreign passports, and blood type can still be written in the passport at the citizen's request.
