VIDEO: Heavy Rainfall in Iran Causes Widespread Flooding

Heavy rainfall in southern Iran has triggered widespread flooding, resulting in the deaths of at least eight people. “At this moment, eight individuals have lost their lives, and two more are still considered missing,” stated Mojtaba Khaledin, a representative of Iran's national rescue service.

The Iranian Red Crescent has “provided urgent shelter for over three thousand people, while more than 20,000 have received emergency assistance.” Heavy rainfall is expected to continue until the end of this week.
