Bayramov Again Speaks About the So-Called 'Zangezur Corridor'
Azerbaijan expects reciprocal steps from Armenia towards achieving peace, said Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
“At this stage, the full implementation of the trilateral statements is necessary. Azerbaijan expects reciprocal steps from Armenia in the direction of achieving peace,” he stated while speaking at the 25th session of the Foreign Ministers’ Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation.
Bayramov reminded that according to all trilateral statements, the restoration of communications in the region, the opening of railways and highways will ensure peace and stability, promoting trade and transportation flows through the territories of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“The initiative in this context is the ‘Zangezur Corridor,’ which has the potential to improve communication in the Trans-Caspian international East-West corridor,” Bayramov concluded.
