Armenian Embassy in Greece Addresses Azerbaijani Provocation on Thessaloniki Buses
In the city of Thessaloniki, Greece, advertisements depicting Shushi have appeared on public buses, marked with the Azerbaijani name “Shusha.” This has sparked outrage within the Armenian community, leading to demands for the removal of the advertisements.
The Armenian Embassy in Greece is aware of this Azerbaijani propaganda provocation in Thessaloniki and is working to neutralize it. This information was shared via the embassy's Facebook page.
“The embassy is making every effort, in conjunction with community organizations, to ensure that this provocation is neutralized and does not recur in the future,” the post stated.
As previously reported, the Militarist Telegram channel published photographs showing advertisements on public transport and bus stops in Thessaloniki promoting the Azerbaijani-occupied Armenian city of Shushi under its Azerbaijani name.
