Eight Vehicles Collide Due to Fog in Ararat Region

Due to foggy weather, multiple accidents occurred in the Ararat region today. Between 08:00 and 08:40, vehicles including Mercedes, VAZ 21015, Volvo, Nissan, ZIL, Nissan, Opel, and another Mercedes collided on the 10th kilometer of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no injuries from the accidents. However, one ZIL truck veered off the road and knocked down a concrete power pole.

Authorities are preparing materials regarding the incident, and the police are working to identify the drivers involved. A photojournalist has reported that the cause of the collisions was the foggy conditions.
