We Demand the Disclosure of the Content of the Document Mentioned by Nikol Pashinyan: Protest Action

“According to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, issues regarding changes to the territory of Armenia are resolved exclusively through a referendum. According to a decision by the Supreme Council of Armenia dated July 8, 1992, any international or domestic document stating that Nagorno-Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan is unacceptable for the Republic of Armenia. Based on the above, we demand that the government disclose the content of the document mentioned by Nikol Pashinyan,” stated Yerevan State University lecturer Menua Soghomonyan during a protest demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, adding that they are preparing to submit their letter regarding the document to the government.

The organizers of the action called on citizens to stand up for their constitutional rights, to take to the streets, and to fight for justice.
