Criminal Case Filed Against War Participant for Comments About Nikol Pashinyan
Manuel Manukyan, a participant in the Artsakh wars, reports that he has been summoned to the investigation department of severe crimes of the Yerevan Investigation Committee. He noted that the notification is dated November 12, but he has only just received it.
Manukyan stated in a Facebook live session that a criminal case has been initiated against him for making a Facebook post regarding Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. “In that Facebook post, a statement was made calling Nikol Pashinyan a ‘cat on trash’ and ‘Brave Nazar.’ There is no insult, there is no threat, so this post does not fit into any of the articles they are referencing. Now, why has it been instructed to exert pressure on me, because I have stated absolute truths in my broadcasts,” Manukyan explained.
He also emphasized that he will not back down or remain silent.
