Charges Filed Against History Teacher for Calls to Violence Against Pashinyan and His Family
A history teacher at Yerevan's School No. 129 named after Gay has been charged for making public calls for violence against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his family members in the presence of students during a class.
According to the Datadex judicial information system, the teacher publicly called for violence against Pashinyan and his family using his official position during a history lesson for 7th grade students.
The history teacher allegedly stated that Pashinyan should be killed and that he and his family should be burned in public.
The case has been assigned to Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan of the Yerevan First Instance General Jurisdiction Court. The first hearing will take place on November 24.
