Theft in Yerevan: Money Donated for Soldiers Stolen from a ‘Haypost’ Branch
Today, on November 17, a theft occurred in Yerevan. Around 04:00 AM, two masked individuals broke the window of the ‘Haypost’ branch number 008 located at 6 Sasuntsi David Street in the Erebuni administrative district and entered the premises. They used a hammer to smash the glass container on the table meant for donations and stole a portion of the money inside.
According to shamshyan.com, the act was captured on camera, showing how the thieves carried out their illicit activities. Traditionally, the collected donations in the glass container are sent by ‘Haypost’ to support soldiers.
A police operational group arrived at the scene, led by the head of the Erebuni police division, Armen Gasparyan. The suspects reportedly wore sports caps and had their faces covered with protective masks.
