The U.S. Calls on Yerevan and Baku to Cease Hostilities
Washington is concerned about reports of hostilities along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, urging both sides to cease military operations and return to negotiations, including those within the framework of the OSCE. This was reported by TASS, citing a representative of the U.S. State Department.
“We have received troubling reports today regarding active military operations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We call on Armenia and Azerbaijan to immediately halt combat operations and effectively resume negotiations, including under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, to find comprehensive solutions to all unresolved issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” the media source quoted the representative as saying.
