Earthquakes of Magnitude 6.4 and 6.3 Struck Iran
Today, at 15:30 local time, an earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck the village of Qeshm in Hormozgan Province, Iran. Simultaneously, another earthquake of 6.3 magnitude occurred at 15:37 in the Laft area of Qeshm. Following these events, a third earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 was recorded.
According to preliminary reports, one person has lost their life as a result of the collapse of an electrical transmission pole.
