Ukrainian Colonel Sold Turkish Bayraktar TB2 Drone Technology Secrets to Russia

A Ukrainian colonel has sold the technological secrets of Turkish Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Russia, according to Azerbaijani media.

As reported by the Telegram channel Azerbaijan Postfactum, there are two opinions regarding this matter. Preliminary information indicates that the commander of the base where the Turkish-bought UAVs are stationed in Ukraine sold the technological secrets of those UAVs to the Russians.

While the colonel was unable to obtain information on Bayraktar TB2 drones, he managed to pass on numerous operational plans and information regarding the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Navy to the Russian intelligence service.

The individual transferring these secrets to the Russians was Colonel Ilya Oleynkin, the commander of the 10th Naval Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Naval Forces.
