Number of Poisoned Individuals at ‘Tashir Pizza’ Reaches 57, Visits from Minister Avanesyan

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, visited the National Center for Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health and spoke with citizens who were hospitalized with symptoms characteristic of ‘gastrointestinal infections’ after visiting the ‘Tashir Pizza’ establishments yesterday. She inquired about their health status. This information was reported by the Ministry’s press service.

“As of 21:30 on November 5, a total of 57 citizens have been hospitalized with poisoning symptoms, of which 49 are receiving treatment at the National Center for Infectious Diseases, 4 at the Armenia Republican Medical Center, 2 at the Mikayelian Institute of Surgery, and 2 at the Martuni Medical Center,” the statement said.
