Vietnam Accidentally Vaccinates 18 Newborns Against Coronavirus
In Vietnam, 18 newborns were mistakenly vaccinated against the coronavirus. This was reported by Echo of Moscow.
Instead of a five-component vaccine intended for various infectious diseases, they were mistakenly injected with a dose of Pfizer vaccine, which is intended for adolescents. The newborns were transferred to St. Paul’s Central Hospital, where they were examined by leading pediatricians. No side effects were detected, apart from standard mild reactions such as slightly elevated temperature and swelling at the injection site.
The country’s Ministry of Health has ordered a detailed investigation into all circumstances of the case and to identify those responsible for the incident.
