This Incident is One in a Trillion: Alec Baldwin Speaks on the Tragedy for the First Time
After the tragedy that occurred on the set of the film "Rust", where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed by a shot fired by Baldwin, the Hollywood actor spoke for the first time with representatives of the media, CNN reports.
Baldwin answered their questions as reporters pursued him. "Incidents happen on film sets, but not like this. This incident is one in a trillion," Baldwin stated.
The actor emphasized that he is prohibited from making any comments, as the case is under investigation and no charges have yet been filed against him. Baldwin does not believe that the film's production will resume. He asked reporters to leave him alone.
"She was my friend, she was my friend. The day I came to Santa Fe to start filming, I invited her to dinner with our director Joel. We had a very well-organized team that shot the film together... and then this horrible event happened," he said.
